HOPE 311 Foundation just wanted to provide the community with updates on the opportunities we've had to spread hope and awareness!
In September we had our first official workshop and we're looking forward to more in the future. Individuals and families have shared positive feedback and are looking forward to future workshops offered.
"I recently attended the HOPE 311 workshop on suicide prevention. My experience was one I will never forget. The passion the HOPE 311 team put into this workshop was moving, powerful, and touched myself and my wife in a way we couldn't have imagined. Suicide has affected our family personally, our daughter Camryn who is now 14 lost a friend to suicide at the age of 11. Who knows what life has in store for them at such a young age? Also, there have been time's where red flags have been raised on social media, where we have had to contact parents to make them aware of such situations. This experience made us want to get off of the sidelines and get into the fight even more." -Trevor

In October, we had provided a suicide awareness presention to the Health connect cohort. We had a great attendance and lots of positive feedback. We have been invited back to present more extensively in the new year.
We are looking forward to hosting some informational booths this month and hopeful to build more connections and partnerships in the community. Our goal is to begin to offer to various organizations and provide custom presentations to meet the agency's needs. If you are interested in learning more, reach out to us.
